Do you have a link to any follow-up article where I can read about your trip? Reading about your wonderful effort might encourage more people to do similar. And, at the very least, will raise global awareness of ataxia.
I myself was diagnosed with ataxia (cerebellar) in March this year. I am currently compiling a global list of ataxia fundraisers at http://www.100trains.com/ataxia-uk-city-bridges-challenge.html. In general, to raise global ataxia awareness, but specifically to raise awareness of my wee train trip next year (a 50,000km fundraiser for Ataxia UK). First I have a short 6.3 mile walk to do – for the Ataxia UK “City Bridges Challenge” in September 2015 – and, although much shorter, this causes me more sleepless nights at the moment – all will go well I’m sure 🙂

How did you get on? Or are you still in Peru?
A brilliant effort by all. Well done!
